All Natural Gardening And Home Products

A few years ago I worked in a couple of greenhouses. Neither of them practiced organic gardening. It was very enjoyable work to me. I learned a lot of good things. I also began to learn the importance of organic gardening. I'd only been married a few months and the greenhouse was just across the street cati-corner from us. Directly across the street was a Conoco. I used to get a cappuccino on my way to work most mornings. It was great. One of my jobs was to spray the roses with an insect and disease control. I wore no protective gear of any sort. Not even gloves. The job took about an hour and a half. I did this once a week for about 20 weeks. Then I took another job at a garden center for a large warehouse. I worked in the greenhouse with one other lady. About every 2 to 3 weeks we sprayed for insects in the greenhouse. We did not practice organic gardening. I spent the better part of a year spraying chemicals for insect control one or 2 times a month. Well it wasn't without consequences. That fall I started having my menstrual cycle all the time. Turns out I had developed dysplasia. A precancerous condition of the cervix. I was worried I may not be able to have children or that I would get cancer. It's 11 years later. I do have children (pictured above) but I have to deal with the effects of not practicing organic gardening still today. About every 2 to 3 years the displasia shows up again, but it usually disappears by my next check up. I had to have one laser surgery. I have to worry because I wasn't more careful then. Today I do my best to organic garden by staying away from chemicals. I practice organic gardening for my family and for my own life.
Wanting to practice organic gardening is very popular today. Buying organically grown food is expensive. From a practical point of view growing a organic garden is necessary for your health and your pocket book. I am not an activist by any means but I do believe in being responsible for ourselves and our families. Most chemicals are dangerous to our health(I know this very personally) and we should use products that will not endanger us or others whenever possible.
Remember being organic is not just about gardening. You can buy organic pet products, organic lawn products and organic insect control for inside and out. So get started saving a life. Your's.
